- (Remaining bone and meat after preparing sandwiches) Ham Roast
Simple Split Pea Soup
Slice off most of the ham from one of my smoked hams
Add 6 cups of water to the bone
Cook in your Crock-Pot for 3-4 hours OR your Instant Pot for 1 hour.
Remove the bones (there will be lots of delicious ham still in the pot.)
Add 1 pound of dried split peas.
Cook on the "Rice" setting in your Instant Pot or Rice-Cooker.
Remove and eat.
