Bolognese Gravy with Crosscut Shanks

Bolognese sauce is often called gravy and is a standalone meal made with larger cuts of meat like crosscut shanks. My easy recipe will delight you and your family.
No need to slave over a stove to create bolognese gravy. Just open a jar of Valicenti Red Gravy and pour.
Add pasta and you're in for a real authentic Italian meal.

Ingredients
- (4 pounds) Grassfed Cross Cut Shanks with Beef
- (1 jar) Valicenti Red Gravy
- (2 - 4 cups) Water
- (1 pound of your favorite pasta) Pasta
- (6-8 cloves (optional)) Garliic
Directions
Pressure Cooker
No need to thaw
Put the whole cross-cut shanks in a pressure cooker or crock-pot and add water
Add garlic cloves (optional)
Pressure cook in the InstantPot or Pressure cooker for an hour (if the shanks are frozen, cook for 2 hours)
Crock-Pot
Thaw the shanks
Put the whole cross-cut shanks in a pressure cooker or crock-pot and add water
Add garlic cloves (optional)
Cook for 6 hours
When the meat is falling off the bone
Let the meat cool a bit
Pour off the water - save to make a soup broth
Remove the bones and fat
Cut the meat into chunks
Add a jar of Valicenti Red Gravy
Serve over your favorite pasta! Yum
