The Advanced Cow Crew Experience on
Saturday, Oct 17, 2026
Some days at the farm are for watching. This one is for doing.
On Saturday, October 17, from 1–3 PM, we're inviting a small group of families into the barn for the Advanced Cow Crew Experience at Miles Smith Farm in Loudon.
Here's how the afternoon unfolds:
A ride to remember. Your little one climbs aboard Sam or Bingo, two of our most easygoing steers, for a photo that's sure to make the rounds at school.
Calf-leading lessons. It turns out leading a calf has nothing to do with tugging on the rope. We'll show you the real secret.
Baby cow introductions. Come say hello to our newest calves.
Bath time for Finn and Bleu. Weather permitting, we'll wrap up by giving these two a good scrub. Just know that the cows tend to leave tidier than the kids do, so please come in boots and clothes that can handle a soaking.
We're capping this at 10 families on purpose. Fewer people means more one-on-one time with the herd, and calmer, happier cattle too.
$35 per adult — kids ride free 🎉
