From Our Farm to Your Table

Calves, Calves, Calves

Miles, our first bull calf of 2017

It is calving season at Miles Smith Farm.  How do I know?  Well, in July 2016 I put our herd bulls with the cows which means all my calves should be born nine months later.

Because the two bulls were with the girls for about six weeks the calves should all be born in late March or April.   The calf count, so far, is six with five more due.

Stop by the farm on Saturday to meet our newest herd members.  We have most of them in the "nursery."  Be prepared for a cuteness overload.  One might even be born while you are here!
