Pulled Pork

Pulled pork
Overview: 

Pulled pork when made with locally raised, pasture fed pork is delicious as well as easy to cook.

Ingredients: 

1 large sliced onion

5 lb pork roast

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

2-3 bay leaves

½ cup water

Preparation: 

Place onion on the bottom of a crock pot

Add bay leaves on top of onion

Rinse pork roast and place on top of onions and bay leaves

Add water

Add salt and pepper

Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours until pork falls apart easily.

When done take out pork and slice or pull apart. Add BBQ sauce to taste.

Serve

Pulled pork in a bowl
